mcgillfoto5Attorney Michele L. McGill has over thirty years’ experience handling real estate, probate and trust, elder financial abuse and other civil claims. She assists parties involved in real estate transactions to successfully conclude their transaction and avoid the need for costly litigation. When problems arise after a transaction closes, she assists in trying to resolve it quickly and efficiently, directly or through mediation with a skilled neutral. When problems arise for tenants-in-common or other co-owners, Ms. McGill works with the co-owners to help them resolve their dispute. If the problem cannot be resolved, she has extensive litigation, arbitration, and trial experience and prides herself on producing great results for her clients. Attorney McGill has represented buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, neighbors, tenants-in-common, condominium owners, and others in a wide variety of real estate matters including breach of contract claims, rescission actions, specific performance actions, nondisclosure claims, easement claims, partition actions, quiet title actions, breach of tenancy in common agreements, CC&R disputes, and other disputes involving real property. She has successfully represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Michele McGill has been recognized by her peers as a Northern California Super Lawyer in Real Estate in 2013. She is the Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is a Judge Pro Tem of the San Francisco Superior Court. She is a past member and advisor to the State Bar of California, Litigation Section, Executive Committee.

Michele McGill is a skilled mediator with more than ten years’ experience mediating disputes. Her advanced mediation training and extensive experience has allowed her to develop skills to listen to all sides and provide new perspectives and solutions. She has been very successful in assisting the parties to resolve their disputes in a positive and mutually beneficial manner. She is trained to serve as a Judge Pro Tem of the San Francisco Superior Court where she presides over a variety of matters.

Michele McGill is admitted to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
